Fish Map is now sponsored by The North American Native Fishes Association and we will be coordinating our efforts and resources in the future. Our next project will be user submitted location collection data to be displayed as another map layer alongside FishNet 2 and USGS NAS.

This site is designed to help anglers, aquarium hobbyists, scientific researchers, and anyone with a passion for fish to learn about the species near them and to visually explore their ranges. Dedicated to spreading knowledge and respect for all fish species.

Unfortunately, at this time we do not have data for Alaska, Canada, Hawaii, or the Caribbean - the data is limited to the 48 contiguous United States and the freshwater species within. Additional territories and saltwater species will be added as data becomes available.
